About Formula 1200 Racing
Formula 1200 is a single seat open wheel race car powered by a 1200cc 4 cylinder engine with a manual 4 speed gearbox. The cars are based off the air cooled Volkswagen Beetle. Formula 1200 or Formula Vee have been around for over 60 years.
Drivers within the series have aged between 16 and 70+. The limited amount of engine modifications allow for very exciting close racing from start to finish. This allows drivers to better develop themselves rather than develop the car.

The Formula 1200 Championship Series consists of 6 events/race weekends. The series' home track is Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. They also travel to Shannonville Motorsport Park and Calabogie Motorsport Park.
